Had tonight at my mums and my brother asked me 'so what's your new years resolution' in kind of a weird tone and as I need to lose a few stone I feel like he was being sarcastic and implying it should be to lose weight. Aibu?

Probably he was making a point. My brother is an arse too, You won't change him. All you can do is spend as little time with them as possible & try not to let it get to you.
