Should I stay or should I go?

I started with a cough and cold on Christmas Day and am just about over the peak of it but still not feeling great.
We are supposed to be going to the panto tonight but I feel it would be inconsiderate to sit in a theatre full of people whom I might infect as I’m still sneezing and coughing a little.
However my Covid test was negative and as it’s just a common cold would you go if it were you?
My family booked it for us as a treat and I just don’t know what to do. My conscience says it’s best not to go but I hate letting down people.
All opinions welcome.

Yes I would, if you feel well enough to go with paracetamol etc on board.

Yes I do want to go but more out of duty really ad I would quite happily stay in bed and feel sorry for myself. 😄

Do what makes you happy, especially when you are unwell rather than spreading it around stay at home and take care of yourself.

There's so much going around, I think you'd probably find it you go there will be plenty of other people with the same symptoms tbh.

You could wear a (good) mask if you have one. Maybe not the best in a panto atmosphere but you would probably not infect anyone.

Stay home. You might end being Infront of/behind someone who is immune suppressed. In any case you sound like you'd rather give it a miss anyway! Get well soon.
