Xmas tree messed up the floor

Had a real tree on a wooded tree trunk stump thing. Just wrestled with the bastard to get it down two flights of stairs and noticed this mark it’s left on the floor. Floor is wooden parkee. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

Sand & re-stain at a guess. Take photo yo B & Q and let them advise.

I have wooden floors. I'd be sanding that bit and re varnishing it.

Is it proper parquet blocks? Or thin wood topping? The mark is resin/sap and possibly water damage was the tree not in a stand?
