This will be my eldest's 5th Christmas and the 4th year with at least one of us being ill on Christmas Day.
I feel like it's been constant this month and now just as I've a million things to do I've been struck down with this horrible fluey virus that's going about. My youngest also has it and we haven't slept for 3 nights now.
I had planned to do so much with the kids today but I've just not had the energy so we've done nothing. I am exhausted.
Is this just how it is when you have small children? I feel like the rest of the year we're fine, but I just know someone will be ill over Christmas.
Thankfully we're spending Christmas Day at home so I can just lay on the couch if need be but god when does it end!?

We tend to spend more time in crowded places at Christmas; school shows, parties, shops seeing all the relatives etc and so you possibly do have a higher chance of being ill around this time. In the meantime I’m sure DC would enjoy being snuggled up on the sofa with you x
