To ask for help finding necklace for someone autiHD

I am really fussy about textures, and jewellery in general. My brother got me a necklace / pendant from Accessorize in about 2008 or 2009, it is a peacock design and it is the only necklace I liked wearing for "events"; Christmas parties, weddings, hen-dos, weekends away... Any time I had to dress up I'd wear this necklace. Went to get it today and... It has vanished. I can't find it anywhere. I have looked on eBay and all the pendants with peacocks on look nothing like my one. It was gold (not real gold! DBro got it me when he was about 15) with the peacock facing forward and there were little turquoise dots on each of its feathers. I had replaced the chain with a different one a long time ago. It isn't worth any money at all, but I really would like to find a replacement as wearing any other jewellery feels wrong! I've wasted spent loads of time going through eBay and Vinted but no luck at all. I cannot get this bloody necklace out of my head!!! I am hyperfixated on it and it is annoying everyone else. Is there anything else I can do to replace it? I do have a spare of the missing one's new chain as I was expecting it to be worn out eventually

Thanks in advance xx

Have you got a photo of it and have you contacted accessorise? As a fellow ADHD person, this hyperfixation will pass as you well know. So maybe put that hyperfixation into something new to distract your brain- that will switch the dopamine seeking to something new. When I need to do this I start looking at and booking holidays.

Is it similar to this but gold?

Not really... everything is gold except for the little dots. The peacock tail fans out around its body rather than hanging below. Then it has two little stick-man legs going straight down below. Thank you though- much appreciated xx

Wow that one is lovely, @jackstini
It is a little bit similar to the missing one; might buy if I can't find anything more similar x

I am absolutely bad at drawing, but this is what it looks like. Everything gold except a little blue dot on each of the "feathers". Probably about an inch and a half long. Am looking through photos to see if I can actually find a picture of it

I know there is that Little Blue Cup group on Facebook although I think it is more for children's toys and so on rather than middle-aged women's jewellery

take a photo and do a Google Lens search. It will show results which look similar. Hopefully that will bring up something.

Oh that's a good shout, thank you @elfshenanigans. I need to find a photo of it! I hate having my photo taken but it must be in one from the last 15 years!!

This isn't what you've lost, but may work as a replacement if the feel is more important than the looks?
