Nativity Film - Miss Rye

Ok I can't find anything online about this, but the woman teacher, Miss Rye, she clearly looks pregnant but it's never mentioned - i am thinking (have seen so many times), was the original supposed to have her giving birth behind the scenes and her new baby playing Jesus - otherwise was there any other point? She says or Mr Poppy says I love you at the end of stage?

Can anyone answer was she pregnant? As it looks like she has a full bump in some scenes or am I imagining it?

I just assumed the actress was pregnant at time of filming?

Hadn’t caught my eye (and we watch it every year!) but Rosie Cavaliero would have been pregnant around the time it was filmed, given the age of her son.

Aha, I thought I was right, do you think it's odd tho in a film to not mention it at all?

I'm sure many actresses are pregnant when filming but usually done from different angles.

It's just in this film, it's clear she is a pregnant teacher but it's never mentioned and Mr Poppy says I love you at the end (like they are getting together) but she appears ready to give birth!

Strange thing to be thinking about I'm sure but it's always struck me as odd!
