Direct offer council flat hand hold

Hey everyone I just got a direct offer for a council flat after waiting 3 years in a one bed temporary with two children in this time we have had a house fire and I had had an abusive relationship!!
I don’t know any more then the flat adress and have been outside to look so I know it’s upstairs on Google earth the flat bellow has a huge garden but no idea if it’s cammunal or not so trying not to think about it. Please can I have some words to help me get excited as all the unknowns (moving date, what it’s like inside…) are triggering my anxiety. I have had to get a direct offer after a break in at my last place which is probably adding to all the anxiety I’m faced with and just want some encouragement really. Thank you x

My children’s dad is also saying my school age child will go and live with him as his mum (who he lives with) can drive him to school rather then him move to a school closer to me so I’m nervous about this too and I have been through so much I want to just look at the positives. Thank you x

When will they let you see the flat?

I'm in a similar boat, I have a direct offer, the council have removed me from the homeless list and I'm currently waiting for a phone call to view/sign ect.
My anxiety has been through the roof, despite being on a moderate dose of anti anxiety meds. I don't mind the moving, it's the waiting for a phone call to say when it'll be ready. I was originally told 1-2 weeks and we are currently on week 3 so yeah.
I dont know what to say other than I hope you get your keys quick and your move runs smooth.
