This thread is specifically for *@peachy2005 who asked on our Strictly thread about my Lasagne.
I was soooo excited when I saw it in the festive mag as I love their luxury Lasagne (£9 for a big one or £5.50 but lush).
I have made turkey Lasagne before with turkey, asparagus, mushroom. This one said it had sausage, turkey and cranberry. Thought it was worth a punt.
The Herby sausage crap was like their Tuscan sausage penne. Couldn't taste any cranberry at all. Turkey was crap/dark meat. Cheese not making any impact. All you could taste was sage/stuffing flavour (or whatever herbs were in the sausage).
Cost a tenner. Sodding awful.

Most ready meals are horrible.

Some markies ready meals are lovely in no particular order Singapore noodles , butter chicken, spaghetti carbonara and king prawn linguine. The Tesco finest lasagna is nicer though.

Turkey lasagne isn't lasagne.

Sounds rank because Italians spent hundreds of years making their floor great and we arse about with it. Just eat lasagne.

To be honest, it sounds grim, so I'm not surprised it turned out to be so.

You would have to do a lot to turkey meat to make it delicious in a lasagne. I hate turkey mince with a passion, although dark turkey meat off a Christmas turkey is ok. Choose meaty mince, I don't think veggie or turkey lasagnas are very nice.
