Any other singles 40+ at Christmas feeling lost

Does anyone else have a hard time over the Christmas period being 40s plus and single?

Feels like the enjoyment is missing when you have no-one special to share it with and the New Year seems pretty much like the year before?

Sometimes I feel like the only one on the planet feeling like this. Mid 40s now but just more depressing that I'll be alone and this is it for me for how ever many more years.

Sorry violins out I know and this is the life I've made or not made for myself but it's heartbreaking and really gets me down

No, it's just shit and highlights just how alone you are. But in reality it's just another day. I console myself by looking at how many women are stressed and making themselves miserable by it all. I'm just planning a nice holiday in Jan/Feb to get away from the horrid winter!😂

You have the power...

Change it OP...

I'm single, 45, Christmas this year I'll be alone as Daughter won't be here, it's not my year.

Buuuuttt... I prefer it this way, I don't want a partner etc.

It sounds like you do though OP, so maybe take steps to change things?
