Hope it’s ok to use aibu. I wasn’t sure where else to put it although I could start with Aibu to think that gwr lost property is not fit for purpose?

Has anyone successfully claimed their luggage lost on the train recently? Son left his bag on the train to Liskeard and is being told to do numerous things none of which are helping. It’s driving me nuts!

What is he being told to do? Why aren’t they helping?

Could be. I hadn’t thought of that! The guy in Liskeard insisted it was in Penzance and a woman today assured him that all lost property went to Plymouth from them. He went to Plymouth and the guy said there were too many to look through and gave him a number for the missing x people. Not sure what else he can do really. Seems a strange system
