Sometimes, personal accountability is the real issue, not just society or the government.

Care to be specific?

I mean situations where people continuously blame external systems - like the government, their workplace, or society in general - without acknowledging their own role in their circumstances. For example, it’s one thing to critique structural issues (which are very real), but another to use them as a scapegoat for every personal setback. Sometimes it’s worth reflecting on what we can control and change ourselves, rather than solely pointing fingers.

Not as easy to do when we live in a patriarchal society that's quickly becoming more right wing and general quality of life is continually lowering.

Two things can be true at once however I know enough disabled people struggling to access healthcare, struggling to pay for a roof over their heads and food for their bellies, all whilst trying their best to contribute to society to realise that the system is rigged for some people.
