Help me find a juicy couture alternative

I was about to by my children juicy couture tracksuits but I can bring myself to pay those prices for polyester.....
They really wanted them for Christmas.
So I've convinced the that for the price of 1 tracksuit she could have 2 or 3 better quality ones and if she still wants the tracksuit she can save , she agreed .

Does anyone have any idea where I can buy a decent quality tracksuits ?

Hmmm. I'm presuming they are teens? They won't thank you for a dupe. This is one of the few occasions where I would say spending the money is worth it to see them happy with their gift. It's a rip off, but if they like it they will get lots of wear out of it whereas if they don't it will just sit in the cupboard

legalseagull · 02/12/2024 20:08

If you can afford it (and you can if you're willing to buy 2 or 3) just buy the one she wants. Think how thrilled she'll be! It's the fact that it's expensive that makes it such a great

Enko · 02/12/2024 20:08

I agree with @LostittoBostik
I'm 53 I still haven't forgotten my mother was never willing to spend on the stuff others had and I had to be the poorly dressed one among my friends.

Ukholidaysaregreat · 02/12/2024 20:09

I agree. Just buy the Juicy ones. My daughter was desperate for an outfit from Hollister. Relatives said it was too expensive and bought a selection of random tops instead that she will never wear. I had to take her to Hollister later or she wouldn't have had any good presents.

Are Juicy couture tracksuits still in fashion....I was obsessed with these 20 years ago...or are they vintage now?!

kaos2 · 02/12/2024 20:45

They won't want fake or another brand will they

Yes I saw one badged as vintage and nearly died!

Do NOT get a dupe!

WisteriaSister · 02/12/2024 20:55

M and M direct had loads of juicy couture stuff last week - have a look there?

A friend of mine bought some preloved ones on vinted for her teenager as she didn't want to pay £150+ for a tracksuit. Would that be a compromise?

Oreyt · 02/12/2024 21:09

I got dds some last Christmas on M and M direct and used on eBay.

PhoenixFireBum24 · 02/12/2024 21:11

Oh, hell...is that chavvy label still a thing? 🤮

Spondoolies · 02/12/2024 21:22

Keep an eye out on tkmaxx as well, I’ve just bought some JC coats for DD

You should know most items of clothing come back around.

MouldyCandy · 02/12/2024 21:45

My local TKMaxx had a load of Juicy clothing and accessories. I agree with PP to try Vinted / eBay.

Flowerpowersss · 03/12/2024 21:21

I caved and bought her the one from
.. but I think I got the wrong size 😅.
Hopefully it's not to big.

Thank you for the help
