I've felt ill for a week. But looking online it seemed like I should be just trying to get better at home. I feel really strongly about not taking up GP appointments and their time unless I definitely need it. Finally rang them this morning after a week in bed feeling awful and he can hear crackles in my chest, I've got a sinus and chest infection that needs 2 weeks of antibiotics. Now I'm really annoyed with myself that I didn't go sooner!!

They are brilliant. Submitted an online request at 8:30, got a phone call at 8:35 asking me to come in for an appointment at 10 and was home with my prescription by 10:30.

If you'd gone at the start you'd likely to have been given self care advice/no antibiotics. Its only now it's developed a bit that there's some distinguishing features highlighting a benefit of treatment. Hope it helps!!
