To ask for colour ideas for living room

Has anyone got any ideas for living room colours please? I normally know what I want when we decorate, but my mind has gone blank; google is showing me some gorgeous colour combinations but they are too dark or just not what I am after.

North facing living room with a bay window; fairly small. Black fireplace; 2 alcove spaces. Currently charcoal grey/ white/ black colour scheme. 3 walls white, chimney breast wall grey. I am after something lighter-I don't want red or orange though. I would love dark green but the room is too dark to take it I think.

Will be replacing sofas too so don't need to match to them. I am looking for cosy/informal, but it really does get dark as fully north facing. I don't want the whole room white. Can anyone inspire me with a colour idea please? Pictures also welcome so i can feel envious of your lovely living rooms too!

I think grey is very cold in darker north facing rooms.

We have F&B calamine pink in our sitting room & it's gorgeous through the different light conditions over the course of the day. We view it as a warm neutral & have canvas (off white) sofas with extra cushions that have colourful patterns with tones of coral, blue, green etc

I'm also a big fan of F&B String & we have that on the walls of another room with teal velvet sofas. And that combination looks great too - very warm
