Hey guys ,
im 38 been put on Letrazol for secondary infertility. Been ttc for 2 years and 8 months. Still no luck. We tried clomid for 4 months. Nothing , I’m now on my Letrazol Cycle 3. Losing hope , as I started passing large cloths on my period, all my tests from last year are normal but these period clots may indicate pre menopause. I’m seriously losing hope. Pls pray for me that this cycle works for us.

ps can u conceive in premenopausal?
I’m assuming I’m in pre due to passing these clots because of my periods. All my blood test were normal a year ago

Hello. Yes you can. I have PCOS and have secondary infertility. I had ovarian drilling, Clomid plus Metformin, and eventually got pregnant on letrazol. Age 36. I also had random periods, some mainly clots, heavy or barely there.

What I also did different on letrazol which I swear helped was Pregnacare conception vitamins, plus PreSeed lube. Good luck.

Yes I think you can. Different situation from you, but I conceived when I was 48 and likely in perimenopause. I miscarried within weeks, which is typical at that age.

I had my 1st/only child at 41. Seeing those 2 lines at 48 scared the bejesus out of me.

We are all different though. Wishing you luck!

I was diagnosed with early menopause at 38 and was told until periods stopped definitely absolutely completely that I was to be careful and said to ensure to use reliable contraceptives.

the hrt is increasing hormonal levels back to approximate normal ranges
they said why do you think so many couples historically have “late” babies.
one of the nurses said back in the day there was even the term menopause baby because women thought they didn’t need to be as careful but were wrong.

none of what I have mentioned has anything to to with any of the other things you have talked about though so I can’t tell you if it would make any difference and I don’t have the expertise to advise you if what I have said would be the same for your circumstances.

but I wanted to say I’m sending you good luck and hope things work out ok for you @Mummmy1986

Yes, I had a menopause baby at 43. We had given up trying at 41 as we were told we were 'okay' but probably too old as it hadn't happened. I already had another child. I also miscarried early on at 47 which was unplanned.

As long as you ovulate you can get pregnant.
