Anyone recommend a low or chemical free mattress? Looking for two pre teens. Jay-be seem to have decent reviews.

Are they out there at a normal non silly price?

Thanks all

I don't know but my own teenager has a lot of allergies to chemicals and her allergy doctor told us to use wool pillows and duvet.

Green sheep?

I don't think you'll ever find a mattress that isn't full of VOCs ,( volatile organic compounds) and very toxic to air quality.
The only choice these days is one that is custom made, and very, very expensive because of that :(
This seemingly unavoidable fact has stopped me from wanting to buy even an Ikea fold - away- sofa / bed.

Natural mat or green sheep. John lewis do some, allegedly.

My in-laws got a wool mattress. I think it cost a fortune and took ages to break in. Could have been made in Wales. Sorry not much info to go on. I also got my kids mattresses that were supposed to have less crap in from children mattresses online which doesn't seem to exist any more.
What about a metal frame and latex mattress?

Thank you...this is the problem all 800 plus. I was hoping one of the 'known' brands would be considered 'less toxic '....

You could try a organic wool sprung mattress from Warren Evans.

I heard really good things about snoozle green. Not cheap though and often sold out. We are waiting to see if we can afford a super king one after Christmas.
