So I had my baby at 35, I'm 38.5 now. It took me 3 years to get pregnant ...... I know not everyone knows my story, I appreciate that but chances are sadly, and it hurts me a lot, she will be my only one.
But I've recently had norovirus and I'm still suffering with post illness fatigue and nausea...... all people keep saying is 'are u pregnant?' 'Are you trying to tell us something?' Etc ...... it hurts beyond belief.
I just feel a woman should never be questioned on why they either don't have children or why 'only one'
Sorry this is more of a rant but.......
I'm not being unreasonable am I?

I only have one (living) child, through circumstances more than choice. My DC is older now, so these comments have ceased, but I used to get so fed up of the constant stream of “when are you going to have another?” The issue is that then when you tell people the truth they often get very uncomfortable, so you can’t win.
