Hi, posting here for traffic.
have just bought tix for a gig for ds’s birthday. At Manchester Victoria 02

just noticed it says over 14 after purchase. Ds will be 13, just.

will they check id? What id would I even show (he doesn’t have a passport at the min)

not a venue I’ve been but had a similar issue when DD as about 8. They didn’t add the age restriction until after though in my case.
Promoter was great, ensured she was allowed in and even arranged a small box that overhung the side stage for her. She maintains to this day it was one of the best gigs she’s been to.

Best to speak to them now rather than be denied entry, though I can’t think of ever seeing anyone having ID checked in these parts. Good luck.

If he looks 14, they'll wave him in. If you are worried, fo you have a 14/15 year old boy in your family who has the same surname as you, to lend the birth certificate?
