So bored of same old dinners and nothing sounds appetising
Away from next Monday, can anyone give me four days tasty, easy, not expensive dinner ideas? Two adults, one young dd-she’s not too fussy though, thankfully!

I always get good ideas from the "what's for dinner?" threads - here's a recent one www.mumsnet.com/talk/_chat/5074268-whats-for-dinner https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/_chat/5074268-whats-for-dinner

Broccoli, bacon and cheese soup with crusty bread.

Chicken, leak and spinach pie , with root mash.

Toad in the hole.

Mac and cheese with chicken strips.

SpottySpotSpots · 21/11/2024 12:57

Curry using a paste and a tin of tomatoes and whatever protein you fancy
One pot kedgeree (realising this is curry flavour again, hope your DD likes curry!) - can do without the fish and just use eggs to keep costs down
Toad in the hole - I sometimes do mini individual ones with chipolatas or uncooked cocktail sausages (https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/mini-toad-holes works well) and then serve with veg and gravy
Pasta bake with whatever I've got thrown in to it

Makingchocolatecake · 21/11/2024 13:00

Chicken fajita pasta bake

Homemade tuna burgers and potato wedges
