They look like slippers to me, I certainly wouldn't leave the house in them.

Skunkaniseed · 20/11/2024 15:38

Slippers

TruffleShuffles · 20/11/2024 15:38

Definitely slippers, they have the memory foam label on them that slippers in primark have.

Astrak · 20/11/2024 15:39

I think that they're slippers. Nice, though.

ClaudiaWankleman · 20/11/2024 15:39

Slippers are a subset of shoes. But those are slippers and should not be worn outdoors.

Singleandproud · 20/11/2024 15:40

Slippers or at a stretch 'bin shoes' but not if it's raining

Peridot1 · 20/11/2024 15:42

Slippers. I have the M&S version. Although the M&S version doesn’t have a fleece lining.

Itiswhysofew · 20/11/2024 15:42

Slippers. I was going to buy some recently from Jysk, but I wanted to wear them outsideGrin. I wouldn't wear slippers outdoors.

JC03745 · 20/11/2024 15:44

Slippers

No idea what Boston thingy copies are, but those things look like something my grand dad would have worn- in the house only!

CoastalCalm · 20/11/2024 15:58

I have some similar bought as slippers but I have worn them on short car journeys or to local shops before

adulthoodisajoke · 20/11/2024 16:01

id say it depends on the structure of them and what the sole is like. if its a firmer sole then you could wear them out

ByHardyRubyEagle · 20/11/2024 16:02

I’d only wear this type round the house. I have a pair of lookey likey Birks that I bought for gardening but now just wear all the time.

WeeOrcadian · 20/11/2024 16:05

Slippers

I'd happily do the school run in them though

stargazerlil · 20/11/2024 20:56

Indoor outdoor slippers for popping out to the bin.

JC03745 · 20/11/2024 21:39

OP- what did your DD and DH think they were buying???

Barney16 · 20/11/2024 21:47

My daughter has those and wears them as shoes. Well she did before the snow and ice.

impressivelycunty · 20/11/2024 22:32

Birkenstock Bostons are indoor/outdoor. Those are slippers - nice though!

Tutuoverleggings · 20/11/2024 22:48

@impressivelycunty Where can I get copies

OP posts:
ThisBrickPombear · 20/11/2024 22:54

I just bought the same pair in Primark. Definitely slippers!

Peridot1 · 21/11/2024 09:21

@Tutuoverleggings I got these www.marksandspencer.com/suede-studded-flat-clogs/p/clp60633891?color=SAND#intid=pid_pg1pip48g4r2c3 www.marksandspencer.com/suede-studded-flat-clogs/p/clp60633891?color=SAND#intid=pid_pg1pip48g4r2c3]]]] from M&S and they class them as shoes. They have the same but with the fleece lining as slippers.

M&S have a few different versions by different brands - Fat Face and Jones The Bootmaker. I think I also saw some similar at Next.
