I work in an office with 7 others. We were all given tasks to do but a coworker called me out on something (in front of all and loudly).
According to her I had done something wrong (which I hadn’t - she’s not even my boss) and I explained back in front of all that it wasn’t me who had to done ‘the error’. Anyway, I emailed her saying, “Can’t believe what you said earlier. I felt stupid in front of all and it wasn’t like you. I felt embarrassed”. She replied, “It wasn’t aimed at you (yeah, right) and sorry you felt embarrassed and it was nothing to do with you and it wasn’t my intention”. She then gave an eye roll, came over, hugged me.
However, she has stopped all communication with me. I couldn’t let how she treated me go and I’m glad I voiced up to her, but now I’ve got the silent treatment from her. Is there anything I should do?
