In a P Diddy rabbit hole. Wtf? *trigger warning sexual abuse*

I knew there was some shit going on re P Diddy trafficking women/girls - absolutely horrific. Have now fallen into a rabbit hole and realising just how much other stuff there was. Having 'freakoff' parties where underage girls were allegedly drugged and forced to perform/were raped with other celebrities in attendance. A woman claiming to have been drugged and raped by P Diddy and another unnamed male celebrity whilst an unnamed female celebrity watched. Clear grooming of Usher and Justin Bieber. Not to mention the horrendous video of him assaulting Cassie - it's extremely disturbing. Thousands of women who have tried to file lawsuits, with over 100 taking him to court over sexual abuse/trafficking. Forcing men/women/children to have sex with sex workers.

How on earth do celebrities like this get away with it for so long? Litetally decadea. Feel like I've been living under a rock and didn't know the extent of what he's done. Awful.

I feel it is the tip of the iceberg. Money brings power, and drugs and limits are pushed when you can have everything you ever dream of

It's so shocking. There's a clip of him and Justin Bieber on (possibly) the Jimmy Kimmel show where Justin is asked about whether P Diddy has got him that lamborghini yet. P Diddy's response is quite chilling. Basically says 'Justin knows not to talk about what he does with Puff in private' the pulls a face. Exceptionally controlling in plain sight.

Why would you want to discuss all these things that have been widely publicised in the media in last few months with your own trigger warning?

It's chilling and horrific. To keep dissecting things and following links that lead down rabbit holes seems like pure voyeurism. Most people have seen or the news. I for one don't want to gossip about a young Justin Bieber. Or any others that suffered abuse at his hands.

The rumours were there for years. Start reading the gossip blind sites and you’ll notice patterns.
As for Usher…apple/tree.

Just as anything on mumsnet, it's called having a discussion. You don't have to join in. It's not voyeurism, I'm reading news articles with details I didn't know existed and learning details, and am shocked by how powerful men get away with such heinous things for decades with consequences only once they have left a trail of devastation behind them, despite it happening over and over again. I actually think it is quite worthy of discussion.

Because powerful men abusing their positions should be widely discussed? Why on earth should we all shut up about something because it’s unpleasant? Should we never discuss serious crimes on here? It was thoughtful of OP to add a TW and you’re perfectly free to ignore the thread if it’s not something you wish to read about further.

Agree it is absolutely chilling, OP — it’s unbelievable how emboldened these men feel to abuse their victims in plain sight on such a huge scale.
