Hi,
I live in a large block of flats. We have a management agency for communal issues.
Privately about half the residents have a WhatsApp group. No management staff in group.
Increasingly, residents appear to be communicating on WhatsApp about issues, eg urgent repairs. Thing is, nobody then rings the office so nothing gets done. They assume that because they said it in WhatsApp, that's enough because "oh it's fine, BiscottiToffee will handle it."
How do I nip this in the bud?
I've tried asking the person mentioning to call, but they never do.
Today management contacted me to let me know how grateful they were that I'd informed them of an urgent fault in another part of the building, because not one resident actually affected had called.
Or do I just need to accept this as a part of communal living?
