Whats the best ever Christmas gift you have been gifted? Who was it from? Do you still have it? :)

Mine was a Shetland Sheepdog puppy, when I was 6 years old. As an only child that puppy became my absolute best mate and was a gift from my parents.

I am now on my fifth Sheltie so the love of dogs has remained strong throughout my life.

My uncle made us all a gift from scratch to share as kids, it was a little red Wendy house.
hearing that he’d pulled so many all nighters made me feel so special.
christmas eve night he enlisted help carry it by walking all the way to our house. He came round Christmas morning and told us to look out the window.

it was snowing and there was the Wendy house.

he passed away soon after.
i was so attached to it that even as teenager it was hard to let it go even though we had to squish up to fit inside. It was just a special thinking place.
I don’t remember that much detail many child hood Christmases, but I remember that.

@Whichone2024 what a lovely man and what a beautiful legacy. You should compare all future partners to him!

My DH bought me the perfect bracelet one year. Completely and utterly exactly what I wanted. I wore it all the time until it broke and, unfortunately, it's not repairable. I know he's looking for another one.

My parents got me a beagle puppy who I named Oscar. I had him until he passed away at 17 years old.
However, what should have been the best surprise of my life was spoilt by me because I had a bad habit of hunting for my hidden Christmas presents and I found lots of dog paraphernalia and a beagle book at the bottom of mum's wardrobe!
Oscar was still the best Christmas present ever though 😊

My grandmother got me a Cinderella Sindy that came with two dresses, one of them being her ballgown look. I loved it, and Christmasses spent at her house were always very special and my favourite ones.

DH got me the Lego Death Star a few years ago. I loved ‘helping’ DS with big Lego sets but he lost interest before I could convince him he wanted the Death Star. I jokingly mentioned it to DH one year not even in a conversation about Christmas but just in general. Then on Christmas morning a large box appeared under the tree. He had even sneaked it there as I was last to bed and it wasn’t there and it was when I got up! I cried when I opened it. MIL was there and was pretty confused. One that he got me Lego and then that I cried and then that I cried from being happy!
