To request a replacement shower - council housing

Hello! Posted here for traffic and also as I cannot find a category that would suit 😂

I live in a housing association flat, when I moved in on the property description it stated that it had a ‘shower over bath’. Now the water pressure for the hot water in the bathroom is slow anyway but the shower cannot be used as the pressure is so low the hot water drips out so I can only use the cold on the shower.

AIBU to ask them to either replace the shower as it came like that when I moved in or fix the pressure so I can use the shower? I just feel like they will say as I can use the bath it’s fine. Any experienced would help too please

Disclaimer incase of triggering anyone talking about social housing- my rent is almost a grand and I pay it myself as I work full time.

It's a standard repair- I wouldn't hesitate to ask them.

They should fix that no problem

Check what they have under their repairs.

When I moved in my HA flat in 2007 the old HA didn't replace showers etc and they were considered gifts.

Mine stopped working years ago and I never asked for it to be fixed as I assumed it remained the same. However my neighbour has since informed me the current Ha (think it's our 4th?!) will replace showers so I've raised a repair.

However I wouldn't expect it to be an emergency repair and to maybe wait a while.
