End of term performance

DD is in year 2 and has today come home with a script for the end of term performance. She has one of the main parts and more lines than anyone else (10 meaty paragraphs) Some of the words probably aren’t even in some adults’ vocabulary, let alone a 6 year old! Whilst she’s excited and says she absolutely doesn’t want a different part, she’s stressing about learning them all. I will of course do all I can to help her and am trying to tell her all the children will be nervous etc, I can see her not letting it go and the performance is 3 weeks away. Trying to explain that they’ll be practicing it so much that the words will become second nature isn’t helping. She wants me to ask her teacher if she can have her script to hand to refer to in case she forgets anything. Is this something they might let her do? Or will I sound like an idiot asking her teacher this?!
