Hoover h wash anyone Washing machine meltdown

New washing machine a hoover h wash 500... im at wits end!!
After almost 8 hours pressing buttons etc I still can't change from whatever language it's in to English!!
I've been on you tube and all other video sites did what they did but nope. If I go.to left it comes up all in one in English anything to right of dial is foreign.
I could cry. I got the app and was up till 5am trying to do it through that and nothing...
The machines on you tube seem slightly different to mine and nothing in user manual either!
I got it from ao so not bought from dodgy dave down road...
Anyone know how to do it.

What language is it in? I'd just use Google translate until over time you know what it's saying 😆

Have you tried scanning the qr code on the right?

To change the language setting on a Hoover H-Wash 500 washing machine, you can:
Press and hold the F and G buttons simultaneously for about five seconds
English will appear on the display
Select a new language if you want to otherwise English should be the default setting.

I am blown away by the fact a washing machine has different languages. What for? What does it say or show?

What does it need a language for? Surely you just select your program and press play?

I've never had anything like it myself, my old one was just turn to what one you want press start and that's it..
I can't read what it's coming up when dial is turned it tells you what wash it is and you follow instructions related to programme ie do you want pre wash do you want extra rinse etc but can't read whatever language it is.... its touch panel so there are no buttons per ce...

I did the hold down spin icon and r+ whatever that is but nothing
It's connected to WiFi and only thing that's English is when it messages me to say washing almost done

I don't know lmao from gist of it it's asking me do I want pre wash stain removal added. It was coming up with weather notifications for my area on machine but again in foreign language

Ah - is it a machine you pre-load with all the detergent, softener, etc and it uses what it needs for the wash so you don't add stuff to the drawer each time? Fwiw we have a fancy pants coffee machine at work and I can never remember what to do when it needs descaling. The instruction manual is like an Ikea instruction leaflet, entirely pictorial and it just wasn't going in. I had to type my own instructions. I'm not stupid, just there was nothing intuitive about the process.

Our previous neighbour had the same issue. Finally sorted after watching this YouTube video. Hoping it is the same model as yours.

This is precisely why I went for a basic washing machine. My mum has a Samsung that sings and shouts until you give it attention.

We looked at that one op but ended up going for a hoover one that you just select the program on.

I don't blame you! Mine broke (basic one) and couldn't get credit anywhere but ex got one for us and this is what he had sent. I'm very grateful but I'm not used to fancy things which makes it worse to operate.....
