I've been in my job for almost 3 months I actually like it. My biggest concern (before starting) is that the title was slightly made, but I was OK with it as it will let me progress with my career.
The role was not very well defined and they told me I would get line management duties within 3 months.
I'm terrible at project management, but most of my roles have had some process around it. The main reason I quit a job (in a company I really liked) was because it became fully process driven.
However, in my new company there's no process or standardisation and my fairly mediocre skills look like I should earn the Nobel prize in Project Management in comparison, and now I'm doing all of it!
So what do I do? I'm really concerned they'll make me some sort of delivery manager when all I wanted was to be a line manager!
