Most you have won on Premium Bonds?

Please give me some hope. I have the max and so far £500 is my biggest win for some years. How realistic am I to hope for more??

I won £1000 once! I haven't spent it yet, it is in its own savings pot and every so often I remember I have £1000 I can spend on whatever I'd like. I think it has given me more pleasure than buying anything would!

I have £100 invested and won £25 last month.

My biggest was £1000 on full holdings but in the last 12 months I've had far lower returns than if I'd put the money in a basic savings account.

£5000 - my DS was really ill and it allowed us to access a private specialist when we really needed it.

Had them for 20 years and never won more than £75. But it's still sort of fun - I don't play the lottery so it's my flutter.

One month, DH and I both won £1000! We each have the max investment. Most months it's a couple of hundred. Occasionally nothing, but that's unusual. It's bound to be our turn for the £1m soon 😂
