Bad behaviour called out. Further bad behaviour called out.

Then ghosted for a month.

I had once of the worst months of my life for totally different reasons so frankly, I didnt care. Had bigger fish to fry. Once big issue was sorted I messaged to say "As you have sulked for am month I will assume that I am dumped. I will come round tomorrow, pick my stuff up and drop your key off".

"I wasnt sulking, I just had nothing to say"

It was sulking right?

ETA sorry should say it was his behaviour I was angry about, he ghosted me.

Your comment was passive aggressive and completely unnecessary which, unfortunately, showed him that you were the one who was sulking. A simple "Are you free tomorrow? I'd like to collect my stuff and drop your key off" would have sufficed.
A person had to be pulled up on two separate bad behaviours and then proceeded to ghost you. And you still gave him all the power. You can do better, girl x

If I hadn't heard from someone for a month that I was supposed to be in a relationship with I would definitely assume things had ended waaaay before then.

I did. But the stuff that was going on......I just didnt have the time or the brain space to deal with it.

I stopped thinking about it all after about a week. He has form for this and I used to chase after him. This time I didnt, not to be childish but because of what was happening, and it was interesting to that he was clearly waiting for me to get in touch as I always have in the past.

There is a reason I put it like that.

Its not to give him the power, I was getting my stuff anyway, and I didnt want to see him. The reason I said I would go when I did was because he wouldnt be there. It was to see if I got the reaction I was expecting if he really was expecting me to brush it under carpet. And I did. So it confirmed it really was an attempt to get me to fold and make up as I had in the past.

And I didnt.

If it helps, the bad behaviour was not something MN would laugh off, AT ALL

ETA not a girl, a woman in her 50's.
