I've sent out invites for my child's party and I've had zero responses, coursing me so much stress as need final numbers for the venue. My AIBU is, is it ok to make a wats app group and add all the parents when I haven't asked of it's ok to share there numbers? as all the parents in the group would be able to see each others numbers etc? Am I over thinking this? Please help a stressed party hot haha!! Thankyou!! The party is in 10 days and I did put a RSVP by date. At this rate convinced I've written my number down wrong.

Why does it have to be a group WhatsApp, can't you just do a copy and paste message to them all individually?

Absolutely contact them, it's unbelievably rude of them to not have made any form of contact with you.

Yes I could definitely do this thankyou. It was more so I could have it all in one place and keep track. I keep been told this is the new way to do invites, but I'm not sure it's appropriate with other people's numbers.

I have an easy way to this OP! Do a broadcast list on wats app, add all the parents and send the message. It’s not the same as a group and send its individually.

I use to for grandparents on both sides they all get the same message and pictures of the kids.

Its so rude for people not to RSVP. I make a mental note of it for future parties.

I would send individual messages to chase them. I find if you send it in a group, someone is always waiting for another to respond first. Or others will wait to see who is going before deciding.

I did individual messages, I think a group is a bad idea

Group WhatsApp messages are the norm here for birthday party. Nobody is bothered about their number being shared. Kids all go to one school and/or parents are on WhatsApp groups for sports clubs.
