DH (45) and I (38) have been TTC for almost 2 years and were in the process of seeking a fertility clinic referral. In all honesty I was almost done with the constant tracking of my cycle and wondering if every twinge meant that I was finally pregnant; or if every start of my period was implantation bleeding. I had kind of made peace with the fact that maybe it just wouldn't happen for us (and today actually splashed out on a fancy bottle of gin to enjoy over the weekend!).
Well this evening I got a BFP!! I've been exhausted all week and bought a test in Boots on a whim. Just wanted to share to give others in the same boat some hope, as I know how hard it is.
