A relative in her mid sixties had some heavy furniture to lift. Her husband was there. No reason he couldn't help but he didn't lift a finger. He's a lot younger than her. She made excuses for him saying he'd been lifting earlier on in the day but sitting around and watching a woman in her older years doing the heavy stuff, isn't it just a bit pathetic?

I might as well ask you "what colour is the top I'm wearing?" Sure you could make a guess, and maybe yod be right. But the odds are there's more there than you have said or possibly know

I do think he'd done lifting earlier and she wasn't lying. He's lazy when it comes to their relationship. Doesn't lift a finger on absolutely nothing.

It was also the fact he'd watch her struggle when he could have it done in minutes. There's zero consideration.

Well, you think he's a lazy git and he seems to be fulfilling that role fairly successfully.
Presuming she doesn't care, is happy with him? If he has no health issues of course he should at least help with heavy lifting. But I think if you tell her you think he's a twat she'll just shrug and say she likes him and keep your nose out.
Unless she genuinely wants to leave him in which case help her in any way you can.
