To feel really worried - Brugada Syndrome ?

My DH is being investigated for a rare genetic heart condition called Brugada Syndrome.

On googling (I know I shouldn’t have) it seems to be very serious and I am totally terrified. We have two young DC.

We won’t know much more until the next appointment with the cardiologist which could be some time.

Does anyone have this condition and what’s it like to live with ?

The worst that can happen these days is your DH would need defibrilator implanted. That means cardiology appointments probably every 6 months.I

Try not to worry, if he has it, he already has it, investigations just mean he can be treated.

I know this is an old post but how did you get on?
