Help me!!

I forgot to take my pill on Monday morning as I was really unwell. Of course my issue.

But since Monday I have had the worst period pains, literally worse than they are on my actual period. It’s CONSTANT pain, both tummy cramps and also excruciating back pain.

What do I do?! I took 2 pills yesterday and one as normal today but it’s just not settling. Do I carry on? Do I stop? I’m really worried!

I'd imagine more likely to be linked to your illness than anything

No I had a bad cough - I don’t think these cramps are anything to do with it!

I get this. I have endometriosis and the mini pill is what keeps it vaguely manageable for me (I can't take the combined one anyway) but if I miss one... OMG, agony, followed by lots of blood. And then I get my actual period every month as well. Being female is amazing.

If you ring the doctor they might be able to help you, I've had mefenamic acid for period pain before (mine radiates to my back, too, and down the back of my legs, as well as abdominal pain) and there's another one they can prescribe that's more effective now too (I can't remember the name of it) and they somehow seem to reduce the blood too.
