I have always been a bad sleeper but since covid, things have worsened.
It takes me forever to get to sleep. When I do, I often wake up with a start and see faces, usually mens which is really odd and makes me feel I am losing the plot. It feels so real that I get up and run out of the room like I did last night . Then I spend hours with a racing heart as am so shaken up.
I think it's a type of sleep paralysis as used to feel like someone was sitting on my chest and smothering me.
I am exhausted all the time and really, with 2 autoimmune diseases, I would think I would have no issue with falling asleep but this is not the case.
It isn't medication based as I wasn't on meds until fairly recently.
Has anyone else had this and if so, any advice?
