I've had the most severe headache that came on suddenly a few days ago. Pounding all across front of head. Worse when moving or sneezing etc. no cough or cold. Not covid. Struggling to sleep due to pain and all pain relief I've tried isn't helping. Neck feels stiff and pain in back, back pain comes and goes.
Struggling to go about daily activities.
Some lower leg pain too.
Thank you.

If it's that bad why not? Maybe the chemist first though

Fireworknight · 03/11/2024 07:32

Yes, go to gp if it continues.

TrumpIsACuntWaffle · 03/11/2024 07:34

Absolutely. Make an appointment

FuzzyPuffling · 03/11/2024 07:35

Recently I had a run of cluster migraines with aura, which is most unusual for me.
111 were very helpful and I had several call backs and an appointment with the OOH GP on a Sunday morning.

If you are worried then yes, get advice.

You mention sneezing so I take it you also have some other symptoms, and it is probably related to that (maybe sinuses), but no harm to make sure.

MellowPanda · 03/11/2024 07:40

Yes, you don't deserve to suffer. Have you taken any decongestant medicine like phenyl ephedrine?

Pain that long headache wise is awful. From fellow migraine sufferer.

Headaches like that can indicate low ferritin and iron also

sassyduck · 03/11/2024 08:01

Yes. Speak to 111 and get an ooh gp appointment. Don't suffer until tomorrow if you feel that rough. Get on the phone now as you'll probably have to wait. Good luck.

Headaches that painful are awful and hard to manage. I'd definitely go to a doctor if my normal painkillers and migraine meds weren't working. That's exactly what the doctor is there for.
