To ask you to help me coordinate this outfit? X

Hi all, I know I'm probably in the wrong place but, could someone help me coordinate this outfit.

I was thinking, white blouse under the jumper with 20/30 Denier black tights & chunky black shoes, maybe a clutch to either match the white blouse or to match the tights? But I can't vision the white blouse going, especially with black tights/shoes.

I've attached the outfit that I'd be wearing the white blouse & black tights with. Would really appreciate some advice on it. I'm so hopeless at matching clothes. Thank you xx

Do you absolutely have to wear it? The top would go nice with wide leg trousers

@Mercedes45 thanks for the reply & it's not mandatory to wear the skirt but I'd rather wear it instead of jeans. But the top & jeans would go lovely tbh. It's an occasion not really suited to jeans x

You dont have to wear jeans. Do you have black wide leg trousers? Or black leather pencil skirt?

@Mercedes45 I've got black leather shorts, wouldn't really wanna wear pencil skirt. Ideally I'd like to wear the whole coord, just struggling to see what colour blouse would go under the red top if I'm wearing black tights & black chunky shoes with it😅

If it were me, I'd probably opt for a very fine knit black polo neck jumper underneath it with thicker black tights and chunky black shoes / boots. Black handbag would then work. Whilst a white blouse might work, it would depend on the collar I think... a traditional shirt collar might be too much with the slight v-neck on the top.

Do you need something under! I'm not sure a white shirt would work.

@Iseeadarkness a poloneck would actually look lovely, I just can't wear them I get so irritated with anything around my neck😂& @mynameiscalypso yeah, I'd probably be freezing if I didn't. Ahh I hate having to dress things up I'm useless. I've got black leather shorts, white blouse & this black knitted button up (pic attached) that I was going to wear with the tights & shoes but I tried them on & felt like I looked like a waitress in it or office worker type clothes. But that was my original outfit x

Don't wear the white shirt, it will be too many colours.

Wear a leather jacket instead of the shirt.
