Girls football

Just looking for others experience with daughters who play football for a girls team/academy. If they have games/tournaments away from home or in other countries, are parents allowed to go and stay with their children? I’m a bit nervous about allowing my 12 year old to stay without a parent.

Just to clarify, I’m meaning I don’t feel comfortable letting my child go to tournaments away from home which involve an overnight stay in a hotel, or longer, without us going with her.

Not football but another sport - my 10 year old stays away from home without a parent (still in the UK though). She shares a room with someone else from her team and her coach is on the same floor. I felt a bit strange about it the first time but I don’t any more.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I’m worried about the whole safe guarding issue and who has access to their rooms.
