Chocoholic but dislile like Sweets

Anyone else love chocolate but avoid sweets?
As a teen very occasionally I might have eaten Haribo Teddy Bears or a Drumstick.
But now 100% chocolate only. Or Chocolate Deserts/ Ice Cream.

But the smell of sweets or bubblegum makes me want to leave the room.
Also can't stand the sweet vape smells .

Yeah I’m the same, not a big fan of sweets although will very rarely fancy jelly babies or something. Pick and mix at the cinema I get just the white chocolate and pink mice (I know it’s not technically choc). Was in a bad habit of eating a lot of chocolate daily but have managed to cut down a bit, still have some every day even if it is just a small bit.

I absolutely love chocolate...not fussed about sweets. But from a foodie point of view, I consider them incomparable.

I'm the same: love chocolate & never tempted to eat sweets. They just don't appeal to me at all.

Same (except anything cola flavoured 😂) ~ really annoyed DSs Halloween haul this year is all Haribo with nothing worth pinching!

smallsilvercloud · 01/11/2024 18:51

Same love Chocolate, have never been keen on sweets, I could eat haribo but would never choose to buy them and normally decline if offered to me. Don't particularly like the smell or texture of sweets.

I’m the opposite don’t mind the odd box of decent chocolates but would rather have a fruit gum , jelly tot , wine gum . Currently on a low carb diet so eating none of the above .
