Please recommend a comfy waterproof trainer - do they exist?!

I need a comfy, cushioned (like air max, can't be flat soled) trainer that's waterproof. Honestly, I feel like it doesn't exist. They all look like trail walking trainers.

Any thoughts?

Look for waterproof running trainers, they all have cushioned soles. Ideally ones that use Goretex. They won’t look like fashion trainers but will be comfy.

Hoka? I don’t have any of their waterproof ones, but I have a standard pair which are very comfy and they have waterproof in very trainer styles.

I got some onitsuka horizonia which have gore-tex but can’t seem to see them on sale at the moment. They might come back though. Am on a similar quest as nice, waterproof trainers are great and I don’t want to use up my Onitsukas by only having one pair!

I have a merrell pair and a north face pair. Both excellent. They are gore tex lined. Would recommend.

On Cloud do several styles of waterproof trainers.

Try Walsh brand. Have had mine for a while and feet are dry and comfortable

Le mieux do a waterproof trainer. I had a pair and wore them every day. They are lovely and comfy.

Palladium do them and Vans do gore-tex. Pretty sure Camper might do some but I'm not sure.

I've got Vans gore tex but I wear my low top waterproof palladiums all the time. Any sniff of rain or adverse weather and they're my go-to. Waterproof, light (I don't like heavy stompy boots) and have lasted well considering how much I wear them. Spenny, but you get what you pay for and all that.

My Nike AF1’s are pretty waterproof, definitely good for walking in long grass, puddles etc

Mine are Sketchers, very comfy and waterproof.
