Being paid to go on holiday

I'm probably being bitter.
I follow a lot of travel influencers on SM. Some are very popular. Others are still working full time in other jobs.
One has launched this as her full time job. Trouble is I don't think she has 'it'. Most travel logs have to be either pure escapism or be brutally realistic for me. Hers seem like the normal sort of holiday photos and videos that anyone would take.
I don't understand how anyone would 'know' that they had what it takes to get to the followers, so much so that you can do it as a job!

Is she a friend? Are you jealous? It does sound a little odd, if you’re not keen on the style, then just unfollow.

Some travel vloggers do go for more the realistic style of travelling though and there definitely is a market for it. Look up Steve Marsh etc.

You know by looking at her content you’re funding her?
It’s just a numbers game- followers and views = £££
