Help!
DS is doing A Level photography, doing portraiture. He is very bright, but complex SEND, so needs support with some stuff.
I need to get him a (cheapish?) frame and backdrop, also maybe some lights?
There are loads on Amazon, but I literally have no clue what I'm looking at.
Anyone with photography experience, who could recommend a backdrop and lights, and anything else he might need? Max budget £200 (his camera is decent).
(FYI - he can't do the photos at school because he's at weekly residential school a long way away, and he is situationally mute, meaning he can't talk to anyone whilst he's there. Plus various other SEND complications for solutions other than buying some kit and doing it at home)

I bought the same lights about 15 yrs ago for around £600 and they're fantastic with the tripods included in a heavy but easily transportable case.
Avoid cheap foreign makes of lights.
Regarding backdrops keep an eye on eBay .The pop up ones can be expensive but more traditional curtain type backdrops are easier and cheaper.
