Good quality T- shirts that don't cost a fortune!

Can anyone recommend where I can get some basic good quality T- shirts to wear underneath cardigans etc? I am looking for quality but I don't want to pay ££££. In the past I have forked out quite a bit for basics only to find once washed they look old and scruffy!

I like m&s or uniqlo! Not super cheap but wash well and last for years.

H&M do really much heavyweight cotton T-shirts with a tight weave for about £10. They used to do supima cotton too, but unfortunately seem to have stopped.

TU at Sainsbury is good value for money
