How do you turn a moment into a thing??

Call me crazy but I just went to get my car fixed and I really feel like me and the guy who fixed it had chemistry. You know when you have that eye contact with someone and just feel it. Anyway, we were chatting a bit and I had a discount code but he gave me a bigger discount on top of it. I struggle with confidence with men, how do you turn these things into an actual thing with someone?

Do your tyres need replacing soon? Grin

I think you're wishful thinking. 'Our eyes met' is a bit cheesy, and presumably he could have asked if you were single/fancied a coffee, etc if he was interested.

He's probably married and flirty with a lot of his lady customers.

Go back and ask him if he fancies a coffee or a drink!

Cheers for that!

I didn't even say "our eyes met"...I said we had eye contact.

I'd never go straight in with asking him out! He could be married, he could be gay etc.

Turn it personal first. So have you worked here long? Bet you work long hours? Ah what does your wife think about that? etc.

You need to be brave and ask!

When I met someone IRL that I fancied I got my friend to ask her friend (who worked with him) what he was like and if he was single. Then I went on the apps and widened my normal age range by 1 year each side until I found him 🤣

If he’s married or gay, he’ll simply say so if you ask him out! Just rip the plaster off and do it.

I think you should take the car in for a tyre check before the winter kicks in OP Grin

Did you clock if he was wearing a ring?

One way of doing this perhaps is saying you are going to grab a coffee whilst it's checked and laugh and say fancy joining me? His response might tell you something.
