Where does Christmas activities like Center Parcs?

I’ve just been looking at a three day weekend in Center Parcs next December. It’s over £1,00 for three days! So now I’m trying to find somewhere that does the similar type of activities (pool, Santa breakfast etc) but doesn’t cost so much? Has anyone found anything similar? We are used to a Haven caravan, so not looking for massive luxury, just something with lots to do?

Bluestone in Pembrokeshire is similar (I’ve heard). Not sure about activities though.

Haven? Although I have no ideas how they compare

Do you have to go in December? We're going second week of November (we go every year) and the Winter Wonderland stuff starts by then we've paid £599 for a 2 bed lodge (Mon - Fri break). We don't pay for many other activities, there's plenty of free Christmas themed stuff to do so we don't bother. Try different weeks .

£1,00 for three days? I’ll book for two weeks!

@Bignanna I'm sure you can work out it's a typo. Price is more like £1,000 .

Of course I did!

Whoops yeah! Sorry, £1,000! For three days! It’s insane!

@loveulotslikejellytots thats what I did last year, but I’ve got two primary aged kids so don’t want to risk the fine/court case for taking them out of school :(

Ribby Hall!

Catsonskis · 18/10/2024 19:40

Ribby hall in Lancashire or Crieff Hyrdro in Scotland

ChristmasCastaway · 18/10/2024 22:05

Thanks! I’ve booked Ribby Hall! It’s a bit of a drive but looks lovely and is literally half the price so I’m pleased! Thank you!

unmp · 18/10/2024 22:23

Also try Butlins

ChristmasCastaway · 19/10/2024 18:52

@tangobravo it has really good reviews online so I’ve got high hopes :) just need to make sure I get the activities booked!
