Posting for traffic. Put the ordinary glycolic toner 7% on hair for 5 minutes - heard acids are good for dandruff etc etc!

brushed hair after conditioner - all falling.

Help!! What do I do? So scared! Sooo stupid.

Wash it out!

buffyfaithspike · 18/10/2024 15:48

I don't think there's much you can do TBH except make sure it's washed off well
It shouldn't have done that, I use that acid on my face and scalp no issues

MeMyCatsAndI · 18/10/2024 15:48

Wash it again!

NeckolasCage · 18/10/2024 15:48

Good Lord. Gently wash out with warm water! DON’T BRUSH

No wash it again; make sure it's all out but DONT brush it.
Sounds like it's been left on to long.

What is too long?? I put it and straight away got in shower and washed it off with water then did 1 wash with shampoo then conditioner and started to brush. That hair was all on the brush.

How long do you leave it on? Before washing?

Hey everyone. So I am having continued hair falling. My hair has thinned out. Every time I wash hair (as gentle as I can) I am having so much hair fall. When I wake up, hair all over pillow. I will be contacting GP today (not really sure what they can do?). I am so upset!

Any GPs? Any Dermatologist out there? Anyone had hair loss caused by a product? I think it was defective or it is not actually suitable for the scalp…. I just want to stop the hair loss. It will take years to reverse the damage….

Emergency! Hair falling!!!

Sadly nothing that GP or derm would advise on. You best bet is a trichologist and I think the advise will be to sit it out , avoid washing hair, use a silk pillow case / bonnet at night and avoid heat/ brushing / bobbles .

Zombie thread! God knows how that happened. How is the hair now OP?
