Going to visit my friend in a month. She lives in Reigate. She is pregnant, quite far on. We are trying to think of what to do on the Saturday daytime. Any ideas?

A nice stroll about in priory park, then a coffee in town? (Town is next to the park! And there's loads of nice coffee shops!)

(quick question - are you from overseas? Your title is Reigate/London ideas, but Reigate is a good 45 mins on the train from London! and a good 1.5 hour drive at least, with no traffic!. Were u hoping to pop to London on the Saturday with your friend? To b honest, there's not much to do in Reigate, but if she's pregnant, maybe just seeing her at home or for a coffee is enough? She probably won't want a long day out somewhere(?))

No I'm not from overseas, we would go into London on the train for the day.

Ok! Well yeah, London has much more to see and do! If your friend is happy enough with the trip! Reigate's great for coffee shops and little boutique shops, but not much else going on! (If you r reeeeeeaaaaallly bored, you could take a walk up to Reigate grammar and see where old Keir and David williams went to school! ;)

At least it ain't R'dill (no offence - but I remember the postcode 'wars' of the 90s and beyond when the Estate Agents were adding a few £000s to the RH2 properties as Londoners came flocking down), but you'll need to go to Reddill for the trains to Londinium.

Yeah I just don't know what we could do in London cos I've not lived there in 5 plus years

You can get trains from Reigate to London!

How about going to Guildford? It's a pretty journey and Guildford is relaxing.

SoreHeadInBed · 17/10/2024 21:33

mmm....could you go to the London eye? (I was pregnant when I went on it the first time! quite a non-strenouos activity! boat trip on Thames? a musical matinee performance??!)

If she’s ’quite far along’ Will she want to traipse into London?. Go for lunch in Reigate, Lebnani is really nice, I’m currently nursing a belly full of delicious meze.
