Both DH and I have worked full time all of our lives, DH currently works in his family business but prior to that had his own career in a different sector. His grown up siblings are currently both unemployed and are propped up by parents. Both have been unemployed for a number of years and haven't even so much as tried to secure employment. We are juggling two full time jobs, house, kids etc and I can't help feel resentment at the how differently my IL's have treated their children.
I have asked that DH's wage is increased slightly to allow me to scale back my hours and be home more for childcare but it all falls on deaf ears. It pisses me off monumental amounts that there are two adults doing naff all when we are struggling to juggle everything and there is absolutely no give atall for IL's side. AIBU?
