Booking center parcs for arrival tomorrow....

Half term next week and we've nothing booked... frantically looking for last minute deals and see the Sherwood Forest Center Parcs still has availability.

What's the deal with pre booking stuff at Center Parcs these days? If I book for us arriving tomorrow, have I got zero chance of getting any activities/restaurants booked for while we are there?

It doesn't let you check availability for activities unless you have a live booking....

I’ve never actually been to centre parcs, but it’s not half term for a very large portion of England and Wales until then end of the month so hopefully that’ll help for the availability of activities!
You could be a tad cheeky and call the onsite guest services and say you’re about to book for arrival tomorrow and just want to check there’s some activities available?

I think most people have another week or even two before half term so you should be ok!

Peasnbeans · 13/10/2024 19:43

Notts half term is two weeks, Mon 21st til Fri 1st Nov.

There'll be plenty of stuff left at this time of year. Go for it!

They'll always be some activities available, once you're booked just keep looking at the online page to see if there's any cancellations, they'll happen on your break too so worth popping to the activity booking points onsite regularly too if there's something particular in mind you want to do.
You won't need to book swimming and can spend all day in there with the kids!
Restaurants will be booked for the busier times but be prepared to go earlier or later and it shouldn't be a problem.

I'd call the call centre and ask.

But they've recently changed their cancellation policy I can't fully remember it but something like if you cancel an activity less than 12 hrs before it starts you will be charged 50% i think that will stop people booking lots they don't intend to do

coles85 · 13/10/2024 19:50

We're heading to Sherwood this week. Feel free to private message me what you're wanting to book and I can check the availability for you since I'll be able to see it through my booking 👍

MakingPlans2025 · 13/10/2024 19:51

A lot of people pre book loads of stuff then cancel it last minute when they arrive and realise they're over scheduled. If you go to the activities booking desk they'll tell you what's available. And I think most of the restaurants keep slots for walkins but again people cancel last minute and slots become available.

Daisydoor12 · 13/10/2024 19:53

We go every August and always find slots available for activities such as tree climbing, crazy golf, archery, all the sports stuff etc. What we do find is the restaurants are booked up at times between 5:30 and 8:30, but they have eat in or cook in your cabin.

Give them a call, maybe?

Half term is always busy but I've never not been able to book most things, especially with a week to go.
